Elliot Ransom

Sensor Engineer at Meta

Elliot's PhD research focus is in automatic deployment of stretchable sensor networks on non-developable geometries.  His specialties include machine vision, mechatronics, large-strain mechanics, and process engineering.  Previously, he has published research on laser and plasma etching techniques for manufacturing silicon carbide microdevices.  Before coming to Stanford, he worked on the test program for the KC-46.  Elliot has served as a teaching assistant for AA240 and AA257.

Elliot's interests include music performance, Seattle sports teams, cooking, and point-and-click adventure games.  He really wants the Seattle SuperSonics back.
