I obtained my PhD degree from Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University. I studied welding residual stress through both experiments and numerical modelling. After graduation, I joined CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. (short: CRRC) which is in Changchun city.

My primary research interest is in the areas of structural mechanics with emphases on fatigue, fracture, and remaining life analysis, involves simulation using commercial software such as ABAQUS, FRANC3D, NASGRO etc. I also carry out residual stresses and fatigue crack propagation measurement. My current research is focusing on using the Extreme High-Speed Laser Application (EHLA) to repair High-speed railway Alxes, more specifically laser and material interactions during additive manufacturing processes.

I love football and I am a ‘Madridistas’, a fan of Real Madrid for over 10 years.
